One of the biggest challenges faced by mainline churches today is moving beyond decline. When faithful, the liturgy of Word and Sacrament incorporates biblical and living memories in such a way as to challenge and even reshape a community's understanding of self. Through the convergence of congregational memory and biblical narrative, questions of faithfulness are raised that healing might take place and the congregation come once again to entrust their future to God and God's vision of shalom."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799718382519451648,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:33:18.173Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:43:14Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:16:02Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"8b329e1d-efa8-4eda-9b1b-67c5d2556227","accessControl_ssim":["769cf2f5-2955-4755-98fc-28a7cccad285"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Impact of Third World experience on American Christians"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:43:13Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:12:49Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["95ef808b-aab5-4df1-873d-319761248fbc"],"hasLease_ssim":["097fcaf1-c7ca-4e45-9f4d-4680bda6e9c6"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Bruce C Birch"],"year_tesim":["1993"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min.
