The preacher needs to analyze the ministerial context and invite the congregation to share their concerns, interests and questions about preaching. It suggests that the preacher should withdraw his/her controlling power over the congregation so that the laity can work together with the preacher by sharing the ministry, including preaching. The structure of the doctrine of entire sanctification, which focuses on personal experience, is too grounded in the past experiences of others.  This leaves the preacher to try and bring others into a foreign experience or convince them they really have had the experience the preacher is referring to.  This thesis will provide a fresh metaphor for understanding the doctrine of entire sanctification along with two hermeneutical approaches that will be pivotal for the preacher of doctrine.
