Included are lesson plans and details of activities for one full year of the program with reports on what actually happened during those classes and activities. It is the writer's hope to involve the reader with him in the attempt to understand how operational faith is nurtured in Christian young people. It reviews the history and theology of the diaconate as the living symbol of the servant nature of the Christian Church.  The project uses andragogical principles of education in a series of monthly workshops.  The project shows that this model has potential as an effective method of training.
