The practicum was designed with six members of the congregation participating in the exposure to James Fowler's theory of faith development. As their ideas of 'faith' were enlarged, the group, in conjunction with the Christian education committee, designed curriculum and courses whereby the educational needs of thecongregation were addressed.  The assumption has proven correct for the six persons that were involved in the practicum.
