The first body of literature dealt with postmodernity and the generational distinctiveness and nuances of that field. The author claims that Millennials (born between 1982-2000) are the most postmodern generation to date. The second body of literature deals exclusively with postmodernity and its relationship specifically with white-upper-middle-class youth ministry in the United States.
