The research question is to determine the extent to which students who took the 'minister's spiritual life' course increased in spiritual maturity. Two instruments were developed to measure this: a qualitative focus group study and a quantitative survey. These examined whether the course: enabled them to recognize their hindrances, assisted in overcoming them, helped develop a plan to mature spiritually, and motivated them to implement their plan.
