One way to respond to these changes would be for local churches to support chaplaincy services in hospitals and institutions.  Using a survey of local clergy and church members, this project assesses the perceived need for, value of, and role expectations of hospital chaplains at the Malden Hospital, Malden, Massachusetts, and the willingness of local churches to support chaplaincy services.
