The Anglican Church has made requests for CMSA to provide personnel and resources to enable it to reach out to those of non-English-speaking backgrounds.  The thesis provides a statistical overview of the changing composition of the Australian population and an historical reflection on missionary efforts over the past two hundred years among the indigenous population. The theological underpinning for any mission activity is explored along with the theological blockages to mission endeavor.
