The goals of this project were:  (1) to lead a selected group to understand the grief process; (2) to assist the selected group to enhance their counseling skills in the grief process; and (3) to enable the selected group to develop a one-year plan to counsel persons in grief.  The project methodology included lectures, videotapes and audiotapes, case studies with role-plays, varied visual learning experiences, and cognitive knowledge tested by group game competition.  All of the preceding procedures and techniques occurred during the eight training sessions.
