First United Methodist Church, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is located in the mid section of the downtown area and has a membership primarily of people who 'drive into church.' This project provides a strong biblical and theological foundation for hospitality. The background includes both the Hebrew traditions of the Old Testament and the 'kingdom covenant' set forth by Jesus in the New Testament.
