For ten consecutive weeks, twelve participants from area churches met for two hours in a group facilitated by the author, in a format that included meditation and silent prayer, reading of Scripture, discussions of assigned readings and participation in various rituals.  Topics included boyhood stories, male mentors and friendships, faith and the soul, rage, anger and sadness, healing and celebration.
