This thesis project is designed and organized around bibliographic research, historical analysis, and descriptive research. A biblical foundation is laid, with particular attention given to an exposition of Matthew 18. An overview of church conflict is presented with a focus on an Anabaptist theological perspective. A brief historical analysis of the Mennonite Brethren movement provides the denominational context.
