Medical education does not provide this information.  The author's purpose is to begin to address this lack by investigating and teaching biblical truths of the imago Dei.  The research project is rooted in inductive Bible study.  It is designed as an inquiry into the meaning of the specific imago texts as well as other biblical texts relevant to medical ethics.
