This model can be adapted to pastoral counseling, giving a system and structure to the practice of therapy.  After extensive research, he summarizes both unique and similar features of authorities who use this method of therapy with the goals of identifying and delineating the parameters of the brief therapy model and of explaining how this therapeutic mode can be used by the counseling pastor.  Its procedural methods are related to types of cases or counselees most often encountered.
