God's communication of truth through Scripture consistently utilizes sensory appeal. The development of a Scriptural Sensory Catalogue reveals that Scripture consistently appeals to the senses.  Analysis demonstrates that biblical sensory appeal is functional as well as consistent.  Categories of functional purpose emerge for each of the five senses.  Biblical precedent encourages homiletical application.
