They presented and discussed case studies, thereby providing numerous examples for understanding the centrality of relationship in women's ministry.  The author's theoretical perspective includes a relational understanding about human growth and ministry.  Participants expressed a dilemma of choice between themselves and their communities of ministry. Mutual ministry offers a resolution, and includes becoming empowered and empowering others together.
