The first chapter defines the Word of God for three key Reformed Theologians: John Calvin, the Westminster Divines, and Karl Barth.  These definitions are then connected to how they understand the covenant relationship between God and humanity.  Covenant relationship is then related to the essential elements of Reformed worship.
