This action-reflection project with 19 members of St Paul's United Church was designed to animate lay people within a supportive environment to explore an opportunity for ministry.  Utilizing the Structuralist method of biblical interpretation, T H Groome's praxis method of theological reflection, and papers and exercises on the history and faith of the church, participants explored and wrote personal statements of faith concerning their ministry.  They then identified their gifts and analyzed them according to skills, which were then categorized by priority.  The third section explored personal mission through study papers and a pairing exercise to identify the specific context and meaning of ministry.
