The project examines the history of the church, its current needs for volunteer leadership development, and provides a biblical and historical understanding the 'priesthood of all believers'. As well, it examines some general trends in volunteerism. The development of the lesson material, the teaching of the course to students, and the presentation of the strategic plan to church leadership are the key components to the project.
