This thesis builds a rationale for using Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences to expand our teaching methodology with adults.  Used appropriately multiple intelligence theory offers a window into the minds of adults in the church, and can give form to the content and practices of Christian faith in ways that incarnate meaning for and with adult learners.
