The author contrasts the value of doctrinal preaching to topical, life situation preaching currently popular in our culture and makes a case for the relevance and significance of doctrinal preaching within an expositional framework.  The project includes the results of questionnaires given to participants before, during and at the conclusion of a series of fourteen sermons given by the author from Romans 1-8.
