It begins with a description of an emerging American Buddhism that is the basis for this proposed homiletic and a brief explanation of some foundational concepts of Buddhism. It then explores what Buddhist scripture and tradition contribute to three aspects of homiletics: purposes of preaching, hermeneutics, and crafting the sermon.
