The model evolved from the real life situation of the Savannah Grove Baptist Church of Effingham, South Carolina. It shows how a congregation diseased with the virus of chaos, conflict and controversy over many years moved to become a semblance of spiritual resourcefulness, a center of health where congregants demonstrate maturity and contribute to healing and wholeness. The project shows that this happened via a Christ-centered model wherein the total congregation became involved in the leadership of the church.
