Besides being involved in conversations related to pastoral care and counseling, pastors lead their congregations toward its visions and objectives, and preach and teach on a regular basis.  This project examines the historical context, philosophical underpinnings and the practice of solution-focused therapy.  Additionally, it reflects upon this method philosophically and theologically.  In turn, it demonstrates the value of using this brief method of therapy in pastoral conversations.
