Foundational to an understanding of fund raising for ministry is the precept that God owns everything and people are merely stewards of what God already owns.  This idea of giving back what already belongs to God redefines the twentieth-century concept of ownership.  Christians are stewards of all God has given.  With a historical perspective on fund raising, both from the church and parachurch organizations, the project develops a practical and appropriate plan for raising money into the twenty-first century.
