A theological and hermeneutical case is made for the use of a conversational homiletic and the tested in a congregational setting. Included are sermons based on 'texts' from the arts placed in conversation with biblical texts preached in an urban congregation. Parishioners verified the validity of the project thesis through group and individual discussion and a congregational survey.
