The project was motivated in large part by the lack of attention to the arts in conservative, evangelical churches in America.  Two groups from such a church, Circleville First Baptist Church in Ohio, completed this seven-session study in early 2004.  Simultaneously, the author preached a sermon series utilizing art entitled Finding Beauty in the Bible.
