This project discusses some cultural issues underlying those debates and describes an experiment in seeking to revitalize Reformed worship through personal piety among church leaders within a particular congregation. Characteristics of culture and worship at the beginning of the twenty-first century are explored and contrasted with characteristics of Christian worship that intentionally seeks to embody an alternative culture.
