One must seek to understand the historical and psychosocial dimensions of religious involvement as well.  The method of study for the thesis was the psychosocial, historical, and doctrinal comparison of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Unification Church, and Protestant evangelicals.
