The most prominent finding of the project showed the desire of participants to be equipped to serve in ministry. Various relational, experiential and intellectual elements engaged the participants in an equipping environment. Using randomly sent surveys to pastors, I sought to elicit their experience of a discernment process.  The survey results showed that 60% did not receive any help in discerning God's calling to pastoral leadership. One was a six-week interactive course; the other was an intensive one-day workshop.  Though there were some differences, both proved effective.  Seventeen volunteers participated and final assessments indicated increased levels of awareness and understanding.  Leadership ideas are suggested throughout, as well as an easily understood list of spiritual gifts, plus extensive bibliography.
