Surveys were completed by twenty community volunteers.  They survey consisted of twenty Likert-Scale questions, one open - ended statement, and three survey evaluation questions.  The results revealed 60% of the participants felt the church service time did not meet their schedules. The reasons included busy lifestyles, finances, and a desire to preserve personal time.  Hypocrisy in the church was selected by 45% of the participants. The project curriculum was designed for the participants to identify root causes of woundedness, enhance their grandparenting skills, explore how they view themselves in their relationship with God and experience some measure of inner healing.  The most prominent results were how our increased awareness of our relationship with God affects our self-image.  Additionally intergenerational wounds affect parenting skillsandchild bonding. Participants in the eight-week study used material from Henry and Richard Blackaby's Spiritual leadership: moving people on to God's agenda. A pre and post study survey developed datas for comparison. The data indicated the participants' needs to cross generational lines to aid in their spiritual transformation.
