A questionnaire distributed to these chaplains recorded the effectiveness of the self-care program upon their emotional, behavioral, and spiritual resiliency. The project revealed that the self-care program had a positive effect on their behavior and emotional resiliency, and some impact on their spiritual resiliency. A questionnaire was disseminated and the results indicate that spiritual vitality is considered essential to doing the job of a Christian Navy Medicine chaplain.  The overwhelming majority of participants also indicated that practicing time management and self-care are extremely important.
