The project included the facilitation of a pre-test and post-test Likert Scale instrument.  The course content brought focus to the principle Christian mysteries of Trinity, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  The results indicated an increase in awareness for growth in spirituality. Four select groups of women from Northeast Ohio pregnancy centers attended two-hour menopause seminars presented at each location over a six month period in 2009. The analysis used to determine the impact was obtained from the pre- and post- test questionnaire responses of the participants. This was achieved through a two weekend grief retreat and sixteen sessions of spiritual direction. Nineteen of the participants completed pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess the impact of the formative event. The greatest benefit was in terms of increasing emotional and spiritual healing, promoting a greater experience of God, and learning how to express grief more constructively. Treatment included cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and magazine photo collage.  Beck Depression Inventory and David Burns' pre- and post-session evaluations were employed.  Results were inconclusive based on small group (five women started, four finished, three completed results) and preliminary nature of the study, but suggest addition of spiritual guidance may help reduce depression as it increases relationship with God.  Other factors contributed highly to results.
