It is good people who can change politics from 'dirty' to cleanliness. The argument favors clergy involvement in politics. Zambia's declaration as a Christian Nation augments the claim. The call for 'separation of Church and state' is an ideology that cannot take effect in Zambia because people there are prominently religious. It is practically impossible to separate the two. The primary focus was whether the building of multiracial congregations promotes racial understanding and reconciliation in a pluralistic society like the United States. To achieve that purpose, 40 Blacks and 40 Whites were surveyed and the data was categorized and analyzed. Therefore, this project employed a small group for the purpose of leading people to experience restoration by experiencing a greater sense of community and transformation, hope and healing. The significant finding was that people experienced greater levels of acceptance and affirmation. Group participants also reported feeling less isolated and more connected to God and one another. In my project I shut off the television for two months in order to gain more margin in time to impact these vital relationships. I recorded my findings in three separate journals. While my motives and priorities were the driving force behind my time use and impacted my relationships more than anything else, having the television off created the margin in time to search out the core motives that drive busyness. Purpose: To develop a health promotion manual for Black Baptists. Methodology: Document the health status of African Americans; complete a secondary analysis survey data set on 1,327 Black Baptists, and develop and evaluate the manual. Results: A manual that positively influences health behavioral change among Black Baptists, through an interdisciplinary faith-health approach to improve health that can be used in congregational settings. The research question was, 'How well does this resource help divorced women move through the tasks of grief as part of their inner healing?' A panel of experts evaluated the book through questionnaire form. Major finding illustrated that the book would be helpful for divorced women. Leaders who participated in a thirteen-week small group used the Renovation of the heart curriculum by Dallas Willard. The participants completed pre and post-assessment surveys to ascertain whether the small group impacted the leaders and whether the goals of the project were met. Using randomly sent surveys to pastors, I sought to elicit their experience of a discernment process.  The survey results showed that 60% did not receive any help in discerning God's calling to pastoral leadership. The method used to determine the impact of servant leadership was a questionnaire designed to assess attitudinal changes after people had participated in servant related activities.  The results of the survey showed substantial positive impact on the participants' cognitive, affective, relational, and spiritual attitudes.
