The biblical and historical basis for peace and reconciliation was developed. An integrated conflict transformation model was created and submitted to ten significant Christian and Muslim leaders for evaluation. The evaluators were provided with a written and verbal  presentation of the H.O.P.E. Infusion Betrayal Trauma Seminar materials, and assessed its impact psychologically, cognitively, and spiritually. The results were measured statistically and by personal response. This project assessed their academic, social, and spiritual formation necessary to maintain their cultural identity as they adapt to the American culture to discover how to help improve their self-esteem, to teach healthy relationships, and teach freedom from the need to oppress, control, or to feel superior to others. The data collected and analyzed discovered that these young Liberians surveyed had good attitudes toward their race and national identity as Liberians.  They feel loved by God and believed they are good persons. A careful analysis of the theoretical basis of the model was made and presented to a group of Christian mental health professionals and mission personnel in order to assess the theological appropriateness and clinical effectiveness of the model for use by Christians. The project looks at selected accredited theological institutions and Hispanic-Latino community-based training programs. As a result all three groups of respondents (pastors, teachers, and students) believe that academic training and a curriculum grounded in the culture and experiences of our people is very important for the task of leadership training. Data was collected through surveys given pre, post, and four weeks after the study.  The results were tabulated to determine shifts towards diversity and inclusion.  The strongest shift occurred towards seeing diversity as a positive aspect of community. This project brought together sixteen individuals in ten weekly sessions of training in and practicing of lectio divina. Although lectio divina worked as expected, the discovery of the overwhelming need among this group for community proved to be an unexpected asset in the quest for renewed spiritual vitality. Thirteen senior pastors and staff ministers from the PNBC and other African American churches evaluated the manual and judged it to be necessary, useful and biblically sound. Four disciplines informed the model: neurobiology, physiology, psychosocial, and spiritual faith formation.  The model (FPC) was evaluated by an expert panel comprised of two groups: licensed clinicians with training in FP and those with no FP training.  The panel agreed that FPC was developmentally sound.
