These congregations have not adjusted in order to reach their neighbors. Park Place Baptist Church is such a congregation. While the membership is open to the people of the community, the need exists for the church to prepare to reach the people. The Praxis Director undertook to lead the congregation in a revitalization initiative to help the church experience renewal through preaching, pastoral leadership, and training. To begin this conversation, the project director taught a six-session seminar to twelve adult leaders of Seminary Baptist Church and preached a four-sermon series.
