The praxis director posited that an understanding of the DiSC Model of Human Behavior will increase a preacher's ability to effectively communicate a sermon. The project included a weekend retreat, the implementation of a lay ministry preaching team, a four-week sermon series, and a test group evaluation. It should also address the spiritual formation of the preacher. The praxis provided six clergy with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the role of a rule of life and the practice of the spiritual disciplines in their preaching ministry.
