The project director led a series of eight workshop sessions over a period of four months that had as its intention to equip the adult participants with the understanding of specific character qualities, and how to teach children to make these qualities a part of their lives. The project director attempted to use the Lord's Prayer as a model in leading a small group of individuals of Sharon Baptist Church into a deeper understanding of prayer and God with the goal of establishing a prayer ministry at the church.  The project's objective was facilitated through the development of teaching materials, a process of discipleship on prayer, and an empowerment of the discipled to disciple others. To achieve this balance, the project director wrote a twelve-unit course on Christian doctrine that he taught in ten settings. The director used verbatims, tests, and surveys to evaluate the ministry intervention.
