It is a church that is saturated in the Word of God. However, congregation members often have an anemic understanding of what the gospel is, some struggling to understand how it applies to their lives. The praxis director undertook a six-week class, teaching about the gospel and its implications for life. Psalms","Prayer"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["'Praying the Psalms: Hearing and Responding to God' explores the spiritual benefit of utilizing the Scriptures to guide the content of the prayers of God's people, specifically using the Psalms as an inspired collection of prayers, preserved by God for the spiritual growth of his people. This praxis provided times of corporate worship guided by the Psalms, as well as teaching and devotional writing from the Psalms, presented in such a way to foster greater understanding of the Psalter and facilitate psalm-based prayer.
