He led one group in an understanding of the possibilities of missional transformation in the local church.  He led another group in a discovery of their faith story through the use of a timeline.  He assisted the last group in developing the skill of finding and celebrating their missional opportunities.  He used sermons, seminars, interviews, group explorations, and prayer in this ministry project.  Phone interviews, tests, and interviews were used for research and evaluation. This project ministry consisted of introducing a program of spiritual formation in the curriculum of West Africa Advanced Baptist School of Theology.  The project involved participation of graduating seminary students in a course on Christian growth and practice of spiritual disciplines. Participants reflected on their relationship with God and committee to maintaining a growing relationship with God. The project director also assisted the project participants in the application of Christian theology to their daily hospice service.  In order to achieve this, the project director wrote an eleven-unit biblical reference booklet for the participants and led them in ten related devotions.  The director used tests and conversational questions to evaluate the ministry intervention. The director led a six member team through a four-part teaching series.  Based on the information gained in class the team planned two sample ministry events focused on two age groups. Providing both theological and contextual support for the project, the author describes the educational objectives that he developed for the project participants and for himself. Detailing the four seminar sessions, the four sermons, and the hospitality practicum, the author then describes the results of the project. Participants' knowledge of hospitality increased. The research and evaluations that motivated this evangelistic call were conducted through seminar questionnaires and response forms. The project director researched worship planning and theology and wrote a seven week curriculum designed to teach about biblical worship and worship planning.  He taught it to nine people.  Effectiveness was measured using pre-tests, post-tests, class evaluations, worship service evaluations by an outside expert, focus groups, journal, and a follow-up interview.
