It is evident in many communities of faith and among individual believers that there is a problematic lack of passion, urgency, and interest in faithfully carrying out one's call to discipleship. For this project five individual congregations and their pastors were studied and assessed as models that have bridged the gap from apathy to mission and from casual observer to faithful disciple. Data was gathered through general observation, open-ended questionnaires, face-to-face interviews, and surveys. Through grounded theory and a phenomenological approach to research, core concepts that can aid communities of faith in bridging the gap from apathy to mission were identified."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["fccbc3d7-874c-42e3-8a20-621b107c56c7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132728774623232,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:08:00.706Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:41:17Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:12:39Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"0336fda3-086a-4f5d-af68-8164d44739ea","accessControl_ssim":["efed50ef-8799-4d27-b41a-9da7fcdab315"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A Model for the Development of the Leaders of a Regional Gospel Movement"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:41:16Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:12:39Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["7e48c8f9-e7af-43b7-93aa-5660df1bc2ab"],"hasLease_ssim":["2c926ff7-d558-4db5-8386-e3b1b5b73a9c"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"advisor_tesim":["Samuel D Rima"],"year_tesim":["2017"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Daniel R Nold"],"publisher_tesim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Bible. Key discoveries were crisis evangelism, empowered discipleship, and focused church planting. This produced a local church with dignity and authority for world evangelism. The desperation and urgency of the church resulted in a more immediate and less difficult turnaround process. Instructional objectives are stated as learning outcomes and defined in terms of specific behaviors that students are expected to demonstrate.  The author attempts to identify various aspects of the evangelistic task from which specific component skills are extrapolated.  Measurements are accomplished by the use of performance observation and by a pre-test and post-test in the form of a semantic differential taken by participants and two control groups.  The researcher concludes that competency training enhances skill development and contributes toward positive attitude development by the participants toward evangelism."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["fccbc3d7-874c-42e3-8a20-621b107c56c7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132893481795584,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:10:37.784Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":11,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"C Stewart Brown","hits":1,"label":"C Stewart Brown"},{"value":"Dale R Stiles","hits":1,"label":"Dale R Stiles"},{"value":"Daniel R Nold","hits":1,"label":"Daniel R Nold"},{"value":"David Lawrence Fountain","hits":1,"label":"David Lawrence Fountain"},{"value":"Gary Gonzales","hits":1,"label":"Gary Gonzales"},{"value":"John W Gooding","hits":1,"label":"John W Gooding"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Tests and measurements in religion","hits":1,"label":"Tests and measurements in religion"},{"value":"Theory","hits":1,"label":"Theory"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Evangelistic work","hits":11,"label":"Evangelistic work"},{"value":"Case studies","hits":2,"label":"Case studies"},{"value":"Christianity and culture","hits":2,"label":"Christianity and culture"},{"value":"Church growth","hits":2,"label":"Church growth"},{"value":"Congregations","hits":2,"label":"Congregations"},{"value":"Strategy","hits":2,"label":"Strategy"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[{"value":"Africa","hits":1,"label":"Africa"},{"value":"United States","hits":1,"label":"United States"}],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":11,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)","hits":7,"label":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"},{"value":"Bethel Theological Seminary","hits":4,"label":"Bethel Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":11,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2017","hits":2,"label":"2017"},{"value":"1984","hits":1,"label":"1984"},{"value":"1985","hits":1,"label":"1985"},{"value":"1994","hits":1,"label":"1994"},{"value":"1998","hits":1,"label":"1998"},{"value":"2008","hits":1,"label":"2008"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)","hits":11,"label":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":11,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)","hits":11,"label":"Bethel Seminary (St. Paul, MN)"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":11,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":2,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":2,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":11,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":false}}}
