Using a Likard scale research instrument to survey growing and plateaued churches, the project questioned these congregations about witness, service, fellowship, maturity, and worship. These assets are a contrast to the usual criteria often employed to select church leaders: personal magnetism, business acumen, financial success, and community influence.
