In 1989 questionnaires were distributed to ninety-nine United Methodist clergywomen and seminary students in southern New England.  Twenty-nine were returned completed.  Six interviews were conducted. This survey examines their adjustment and support needs throughout the relocation process.  This project offers a number of suggestions for improving the consultation process and for providing clergy families with support.  The survey information shaped the design of a pre-relocation package and post-relocation retreat offered clergy families.
