By using such things as lectures on optimal family functioning, sculpting, circular questions, homework, and redescription questions, it seeks to help couples become aware of and change the family of origin relational processes which inhibit greater marital satisfaction.  Relational processes in six areas are focused on: roles, emotional expression, individuation, power distribution, communication, and subsystems. The project includes a number of ways to educate citizens regarding their political responsibilities and the critical social issues under debate in political campaigns.
