It questioned: attitudes of administration, faculty and students; practices in training students in theory and application of deliverance; and how better to train students?  The study discussed precedent biblical and historical literature.  A qualitative approach and case study methodology employed interviews, documentary evidence, and observations. Administrators, faculty and all interviewed students supported deliverance ministry training.  How to supply practical training posed problems. Several issues required more systematic research.  The case that seminaries should develop deliverance ministry programs was presented. Hymns sung during a two-year period were analyzed and described using standard categories of systematic theology.  The study concluded that both churches' hymnodies demonstrated comprehensive theological development in the key areas of belief. While the hymnodies' teachings are biblical, several areas were noted where discrepancies might have occurred between people's beliefs and the beliefs they expressed in their singing. A quantitative, descriptive method of research using a mailed questionnaire was employed.  Many differences were found. The research methodology was guided interviews in the Norontario area of the BCOQ and questionnaires in the Hermosa area.  The number one single priority need in almost every demographic category was personal spiritual development.
