The project drew heavily on the writings of Jurgen Moltmann, Walter Brueggemann and James Fowler.  One hundred seventy-three faculty, students, staff, college Executive Committee members, trustees and members of the Council on Church Relations participated in discussion groups focused on a position paper written by the chaplain. The project provides analysis of a college context and observations on faith development in approximately 150 students.  Exploration of four themes integrates faith development literature, Old Testament theology, exegesis of selected, illustrative biblical texts, and campus data from structured settings and class assignments.
