In Africa, where oral tradition, communalism, illiteracy, and poverty prevail, it is imperative that the church make use of the media seriously in its task of evangelism.  Uganda is discussed as a model for such an evangelism project through the broadcast media. It also tests the use of instrumentations (the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Blake-Mouton Managerial Grid and a Money Behavior Inventory) in the collection and use of data from 10 pastors and 100 laity.  The paper includes sections on stewardship theology, leadership theory, research methodology, and data analysis. The data for this project were obtained through the use of questionnaires completed by laity and clergy in this denomination.  The major conclusion drawn from this study is that the clergy is providing premarriage counseling which includes the topics of importance from the viewpoint of the laity.
