Through interviewing young adults who are actively engaged in five emerging church communities using Portraiture, this research would disclose common resonances among them that were generative and exportable. This project focuses on a particular congregation and on the importance of the sacrament of Eucharist in a postmodern context. The report follows the story of a new church development, which serves as the case study for a postmodern community where Eucharist is a mark of the church. It explores characteristics of postmodernity and how the sacrament connects with the contemporary cultural and societal milieu.
