The author facilitated pre- and post-screening clinics and administered questionnaires before and after a twelve-week implementation program to see if there were any change(s) in lifestyle patterns. Participants experienced decrease in hypertension, body mass index and lowered blood glucose levels. The findings showed that persons who get involved in some lifestyle behavioral change can experience positive change. The workshop involved a diverse group of professionals from a wide range of disciplines and specialties on the campus of the Baptist Health System's Montclair Hospital. Intercessory prayer is necessary tool for wholistic health care because it connects people and enables them to 'touch' one another. Although prayers come in many different forms and often have surprising results, prayer is intended to be integrated with relationships.
