He suggests it offers a process for spiritual formation instructive to shaping a pilgrimage experience for a contemporary Presbyterian congregation.  This pattern might inform how space is created for spiritual formation in other areas of the church's life.  Using the patterns noted in patristic pilgrimage and via qualitative method, the author explores the formation evident in a mission trip experience shaped by early pilgrimage.  The paper notes the pilgrims' affirmation of growth through an experience compatible with early practice and the Reformed tradition."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791128130730065920,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:54:55.670Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Jill D Ulrici","hits":1,"label":"Jill D Ulrici"},{"value":"John Lennig Frye","hits":1,"label":"John Lennig Frye"},{"value":"Lynne McNaughton","hits":1,"label":"Lynne McNaughton"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Pilgrims and pilgrimages","hits":3,"label":"Pilgrims and pilgrimages"},{"value":"Christianity","hits":1,"label":"Christianity"},{"value":"Christianity and other religions","hits":1,"label":"Christianity and other religions"},{"value":"Dialogue","hits":1,"label":"Dialogue"},{"value":"Faith development","hits":1,"label":"Faith development"},{"value":"Interfaith relations","hits":1,"label":"Interfaith relations"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[{"value":"Ireland","hits":1,"label":"Ireland"}],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":3,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Columbia Theological Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Columbia Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":3,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2004","hits":1,"label":"2004"},{"value":"2007","hits":1,"label":"2007"},{"value":"2008","hits":1,"label":"2008"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Columbia Theological Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Columbia Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Columbia Theological Seminary","hits":3,"label":"Columbia Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":3,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":3,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":true}}}
